We understand sometimes it's not easy to explain exactly how to retouch your photo. So, if there is a picture which can help you to better describe your request, just upload (or attach it) it into the same project and name it Reference Picture, and we will use that as a point of reference for the retouch. If you feel that an email explanation is not sufficient, include your telephone number or skype details and we will contact you to discuss the details of the restoration.

If you are using the upload service, complete and submit the online order form, your photograph file will be attached to the order form and uploaded to us.

Please remember, if you are uploading more than one picture; clearly label each of your photos (eg: photo 1, photo 2 etc). In the "Special Requirement" box include a detailed description of the restoration you require for each of the pictures that you are uploading.

We accept all kinds of digital photos which can be transferred by internet. We accept JPG, PNG, GIF, or TIFF format photos less than 18M bytes. For Professional clients who wish to send large format images, or in other file formats (DNG`s, RAW etc), we suggest that you use Media Fire (click on the link to set up an account) or please email or skype us for help with your order.

If you have a non digital photograph (a print) that you wish to restore, follow these easy steps:

1. Simply scan in your photograph at actual size using the colour photo or RGB colour setting on your scanner and at a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. Restorations require a scan of around 4Mb low compression JPEG file, or an image at least 3000 pixels on its longest size. Remember compressing/reducing the image size will result in a lower quality picture.
2. Consult your scanner manual for information specific to your scanner. If you are in any doubt just email /skype us for advice.
3. If you do not have a scanner, you can take it to a professional scanning service - most print shops and photo processing outlets have a scanning facility.

If you are not satisfied with our work, you can submit additional instructions and we will revise it, until you are satisfied.
